What does your typical work day look like?

I usually hit the ground running (most mornings with a Starbucks in hand).  There’s a lot that goes into opening the store, so I arrive early, get the store ready to role for the day.  After that it consists of many things like: working on orders/re-orders, styling outfits for my jb stylebox clients, assisting all of our shoppers on the sales floor, updating our mannequins with new outfits, social media (facebook and instagram posts) and much more! It’s always busy around jb and me!

Favorite part of your job? 

I love being able to be creative and put together head to toe looks for our customers!  I also love to challenge myself to style items that you might not think would work together, and have the look turn out super cute!

Describe your personal style… 

I keep my style pretty simple most of the time.  I’m a big jeans and t-shirt girl, and often times have to tell myself I don’t need another v-neck t-shirt:) I love solid colors and don’t tend to wear a ton of prints.  I love dressing up a simple outfit  with some great jewelry—Especially rose gold or gold!

What makes you feel confident? 

Who is your style icon? 

Believe it or not I can’t think of anyone in particular that I would say is my fashion icon.  I do follow a variety of fashion bloggers and feel like I take bits of inspiration from a handful of them.

What are your beauty + wellness must-haves?

Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation

St Tropez bronzing mousse (for the perfect golden tan)

Peppermint essential oils

Moroccan oil Dry shampoo (I’ve tested so many and this one works the best for me)

Anything Kevin Murphy hair products

What do you do outside of jb and me? 

I love gardening in the Summer! I plant a huge cut flower garden with mainly dahlias, zinnias, sunflowers and Roses--fresh flowers all summer long!  My Husband and I have a non-profit we started a few years ago that also keeps us busy called “Yeah, it’s a Handout!”  Check us out:) I love to travel-My husband and I's happy place is Walt Disney World.  We make sure we get there at least twice a year:)

If you had to wear one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

A gold E Sophie High rise jeans + my favorite white ribbed tank from Wishlist + my Matisse leopard slides

Favorite place you’ve ever visited and why.

Hands down Walt Disney World- some people might not get it and thats ok:)  I’ve been going there almost every year since I was a child and have had so many memories made there over the years.  It’s just the happiest place to me for so many different reasons:)

hmmm not sure...

Most embarrassing outfit you’ve ever worn. 

I remember this outfit my mom made me wear as a child.  Neon green biker shorts and the top was a t-shirt that was a close up of a cat face.  I’m sure I actually loved it at the time ha:)

One piece of advice you’d give your younger self. 

Follow your heart it’s usually right.
