At this point in the summer, it’s difficult to think of Fall, I know! There are beach days to be had, sunsets to revel in and cute, summer dresses still to be worn. I appreciate that line of thinking.
However, I can also appreciate the soft and dreamy Fall sweaters, long sleeves and boots that are slowly trickling into jb and me. I’ll admit it, I’m a Fall Clothing Junkie. FCJ. Great jeans, leather booties, a chunky sweater and a perfectly tied scarf – it’s my very favorite outfit.

Here are some of the EARLY Fall trends we are loving at the store:
Cool Hues – The cooler temps this Fall bring with them a cool palette of icy pinks, lavenders and peach. Stay tuned for a brighter pop of color when Fall 2018 starts showing off electric shades of blue, yellow and red. In the meantime, I am obsessed with the pale pink of the Cupcakes and Cashmere Justeen Top. This cool pastel color pairs great with a soft, gray denim.

It’s all about the Crop Top – No, you don’t have to show off your mid-section when you pair a cropped sweater with a high rise jean! The higher rise on denim makes this new trend friendly and functional. If you feel uncomfortable with a shorter length on top, you can layer a thin cami underneath, bridging any gap between top and bottom. The Jack De ja Vu Sweater is a great example of this flattering trend.

Serious Sleeves – Side flair is still a thing this fall! We are seeing bows and bells, fringe and ruffles. I do love the interesting details we are seeing on sleeves. An often over-looked area of fashion is truly having its moment. The Cupcakes and Cashmere Kirby Top blends Fall’s top trends elegantly.

But, of course, the Bootie – Carrying over from previous years (and hopefully sticking around forever), the short bootie is Fall’s favorite footwear. Wear them with dresses, skinny jeans, flares, skirts – the look can be casual or dressy, depending which style you choose. Jb and me already has many styles of booties in store. My favorite is the Nicole Rayna. It is a black, mesh bootie that is incredibly comfortable to wear.
