Have you seen the Red Cardinal?
Look closely and you will see…
In the Christmas window displays at jb and me, a single, red cardinal
sits atop each tree.

Let me tell you why we have added this pretty little one to our store.
Whenever I see a cardinal, it gives me a warm feeling in my heart and
I can't help but smile.

The beautiful Red Cardinal was recognized as God's presence and
direction at first by my mom. She shared with me that through our
many business decisions, while she was fervently praying and asking
God, "Is this Your will or mine", she would also ask God for a sign to
let her know, 'Yes, Maribeth, you are opening the right doors'. During
her prayer times - more than once - a beautiful Red Cardinal would
show up. It gave her reassurance that our decisions were what God
intended for us to do. Since she shared this with me, I have also
grown a love for this beautiful red bird.

It reminds me of our Everlasting Father, His constant presence in our
life and business; and, of course of my beautiful mother and her
faithful heart.  The red cardinal has significant meaning for both my
Mom and me. It is a reminder that God is with us. His guidance and
His wisdom lead us through life and business – step by step, side by
side, in faith and prayer. With fervent hearts, we trust His plan for us
and the special store we have created within this amazing community.

Now, during this beautiful Season of Love and the Promise that God
gave us through his Son, we thought it would be an important time to
share our Red Cardinal story. Because maybe you too, need a sign -
a reminder - that He is right there with you ALL OF THE TIME!

We put cardinals in our windows this Christmas, to remind us each
day that God is with us and to share the JOY of His presence in jb and
me.
