Twice a year, my mom & I hop on a plane bound for Las Vegas, (not for a bachelorette party or to try our luck ;) but to immerse ourselves in the discovery of revolutionary apparel, home, and jewelry design at the MAGIC international marketplace-hopeful that whatever happens in Vegas will surely not stay there, but instead be the talk of the town when we bring back our curated collection to jb and me.
Bursting with activity, the multi-storied structure is saturated with thoughtful new hues, playful patterns, striking silhouettes-artful innovation in sync with the curiosity this conceptual age brings.
We have learned to navigate the loud crowds by following our instincts rather than the madness of the mainstream in our surroundings.
While we of course are fundamentally influenced by the story behind our own individual styles & draw inspiration from the variety of women who make up our team, our minds/hearts are dreaming to meet the unspoken wishes of the women who explore our store.
YOU, whose spring season is a relay race of adventurous travels, everyday duties, dinner dates, girls’ nights and some R&R evenings in.
& while the women who shop jb and me WILL NOT be put into a box/are DIVERSE in body type, ethnicity, personality, they are similar in the exceptional desire to have fun with fashion! To engage themselves in the modern movements rooted in runway designs while still searching for pieces that are soft to the skin and can jive with the daily duties of modern life.

OKAY SO HERE’S! THE! SCOOP on all the modern magic that’s making its way to jb and me!
In the construction of new silhouettes, emphasis has been put on the strong, brave shoulders of women with puff sleeves that delicately pleat down the arm. Added height absent of rigidity is how Free People does it with springtime floral
“Sweet Memories” blouse.
Feminine shaped sleeves reminiscent of the romantic era are the hypothetical “covergirls” for the statement that “truly beautiful things don’t ask for attention.”
Equally impactful aesthetically are blazer jackets such as Cupcakes & Cashmere Castillo Blazer and two piece sets from Sanctuary.
Blazers exude drive, diligence, professionality. In other words, casual Fridays are getting a facelift with these chic & polished yet ultra breathable blazers!
But hold on, tops aren’t the only garments getting attention as denim has been declaring “skinny” is far from the only idea of pretty. Boyfriend, straight, and wide leg cuts that crop to show off the ankle are the leading ladies for well into the foreseeable future.

Pant legs are being painted with pattern as floral makes her annual comeback & animal print continues to rage. Pony, leopard, snakeskin, tortoise shell…it seems the entire animal kingdom is sharing the spotlight! Floral & flowy for the free-spirited, the high rise Billabong Wandering Soul trousers feature surplice seams resulting in a tasteful slit accent.
Sticking with the two-piece trend, BB Dakota features matching sets of the timeless camo in B&W as well as a mini skirt + bomber jacket look in, you guessed it, leopard! For a full head-to-toe, animal-inspired look, roam (or run!) over to the Ray-Ban case for a snazzy new pair of tortoise shell sunnies!
You’re never fully dressed without a fresh pair of shoes (and, yeah, a smile too) which will be taking you to new heights with shapes and styles inspired by combat boots. A look rooted in confidence and courage. With a focus on laces & adjustability, you can be sure comfort will be a top priority for Sorel and Miz Mooz especially.
While fashion is a source of inspiration, it is also a reflection of the social, cultural events of the people who have a passion for fashion. We have all fallen in love with Alternative’s tees (did you see this season’s new arrivals??), but we are especially grateful for the brand’s endeavors to empower ALL PEOPLE to participate in tenderly caring for this planet we’ve been placed in. During our time in Las Vegas, Jb and Me refused plastic waterbottles & instead chose to reuse bottles we were given.
