Just yesterday we were packing the kids up and heading to the beach. We were dashing through the sprinklers and wiping ice cream drizzled mouths. Suddenly the kids have gone back to school, the sandals have turned into flats, and the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice latte has made its debut. But that’s not all that’s changed seemingly over the past weekend. Suddenly our living room furniture has been rearranged, a new flat screen TV has wound up in the “Man Cave,” and the whole family has been outfitted in _____ and _____ (insert favorite team’s school colors here). 

That can only mean one thing… football season has arrived. Whether you love or loathe the thought of screaming fans and face paint there is no hiding from it. In fact, it will be on every television screen at your local restaurants and bars at least four nights a week. So here’s a thought: why not embrace it? At jb and me, we love having something to cheer about, and we love having a reason to get dressed up even more!
