In January we were asked about our New Years resolutions. I choose not to commit to a particular resolution but to make it a personal goal to change something for the positive. I have always advocated for clean, healthy living. I eat organic whenever possible and I exercise daily. I admit, I have a few vices - afterall, I have declared that I am a diva :)
My New Years goal was to try to eliminate some of the artificial in my life. I have stopped artificial sweeteners - huge for me. I also became aware of the hidden chemicals and hormones in our skin care products. This diva is a product junkie. I have tried every eye cream from the $5.99 bottle to the $200+ bottle with all their promises. The more research I did, the more I realized that in my effort to remove a facial line or two, I'm putting chemicals into my body.
So, now what? Look no further.... jb and me is now carrying a complete skin care line by our favorite Farmhouse Fresh! Two weeks ago I started using the "Bright Eyed & Bushy-Tailed" kit. The kit contains a Green Tea Milk Wash (97% natural, paraben free, sulfate free, gluten free & vegan), Wine Down overnight antioxidant recovery serum (85% natural, paraben free, sulfate free, gluten free & vegan), Sand Your Ground exfoliation mask (99% natural, paraben free, sulfate freee, gluten free & vegan), and Three Milk ageless moisturizer (95% natural, paraben free, sulfate free, gluten free & vegan). In addition I also started using Crow Catcher Serum (98% natural, paraben free, sulfate free, gluten free & vegan).
This week, one of our part time gals who has not seen me in a month or so said to me, "you look great - did you try a new makeup?" Just the confirmation I needed to know that chemical free and natural is doing for the outside what I've been trying to do on the inside.

We use baking soda, water and tea tree oil, and make a paste. (mix up a small batch every few days and keep in an air tight glass jar) My teeth have never felt cealner all day long, my mouth feels fresher, I can’t believe it took me so long to try this. (We ran out of toothpaste and didn’t make it to the store in time for the next brush thought we’d try it). I have sensitive teeth and since I’ve been using this paste, my sensitivity is pretty much gone. Bring on the hot and colds! My teeth seem whiter. After learning about fluoride, I’m doing my best to keep it out of my daily routine, and I love this option. I’ve almost got my 5yo hooked on it. I recently traveled (out of country) and took a tube of toothpaste, colgate I think, and my teeth and mouth felt so grody. I love my new tooth paste. (and so much cheaper and less packaging)
