You're thinking to yourself, "I have a million pairs of boots." But this season is all about the bootie! We're trading in our knee-high styles for ankle boots that work perfect with flare, boot cut, and even skinny jeans cuffed! They're one of the most versatile style of boots because they also pair well with a dress and leggings. If you're new to the ankle boot trend, try them first with a boot cut jean and your favorite top. If you'd like to broaden your horizons more, try rolling up your skinny jeans and pairing a fun ankle sock!

4. Socks: The Newest Accessory

We all love to add some flair to our fall outfits with our favorite jewelry piece, but we're embracing the new sock trend seen everywhere from Free People to Ralph Lauren. Ankle socks are usually worn with a bootie and a skinny jean cuffed just above the shoe showing the sock off. If you're wearing a knee-high boot, the socks can come up just a couple of inches above the boot over jeans again showing off the sock. Always be sure to pair like with like, short ankle socks with short ankle boots and high socks with high boots.
